Summary: Maggie has an image to maintain- level headed, happy, wise, and together. But slowly, regret is devouring her from the inside out- her image is crumbling, and she has no idea what to do. Out of nowhere, she puts herself into a mental care facility, and says she's been having suicidal thoughts. Her husband is left with the job of figuring out why she did this, and getting her out.
Violence and gore: While talking to someone about his wife, Ben is beat up, and left with a concussion. Also, there's a little girl, who is in a foster home, being abused, towards the end of the book, she has to go to the hospital.
Suicide: Maggie admits to having thoughts of suicide
Morals: This is a story about redemption, and healing.
