Summary: Gabi and Lia do not want to spend another summer in Italy. They have spent every single summer in Italy, and they're sick of it. But then, they stumble into an old cave, where they are transported back through time to rural Tuscany. Unfortunately, Gabi and Lia have been separated, and they have to go through a series of adventures to find each other, and get back home.
Violence and gore: Almost every single fantasy book will have a violence and gore parent alert on it, because there's swords a lot of the time, and people are stabbed. Gabi knows how to use a sword, and goes into battle along with Marcello, Luca, and Lia. Gabi is stabbed, and Lia is threatened with a medieval torture device.
Sexual content: Marcello and Gabi share a kiss, and someone tries to rape Gabi.
Morals: Gabi will do anything for her loved ones, and it provides with some great examples of bravery.
